You can use the video created by the BBC.
It will be 60 years since the BBC screened what may have been the first-ever televisual 1 April prank. The spaghetti-tree hoax was a three-minute hoax report broadcast on April Fools' Day 1957. Now it is a payback time, you can use this chance to trick your students.
Fake news may be one of the defining phrases of our times but as Marshall McLuhan said “Education is ideally civil defense against media fallout.” Let’s see if you can distinguish hoax photos from real ones.
